Saturation: Thing that can make images different

In the world of color theory, saturation is the difference of a color against its own brightness. Sounds a bit technical, right? Don't worry. We're not gonna have a quiz for that. Let's take a look at how saturation can affects an image.

Remember our original picture.
original picture

As the saturation decreases, the amount of color fades away till the picture finally becomes black & white
at -100 or saturation = 0.

-20 -40 -60 -80 -100
saturation -20 saturation -40 saturation -60 saturation -80 saturation -100

Now, see what happens when we increase saturation. The picture becomes more colorful and vivid until
it doesn't look like something real.

+20 +40 +60 +80 +100
saturation +20 saturation +40 saturation +60 saturation +80 saturation +100

Note that the saturation adjustment can be done by using photo editor software available in the market.
