Canon PowerShot SD1200 or SD780 ???

There are some debate around the digital camera market about what to get, between Canon PowerShot SD1200 and SD780. The SD780 required about $30 more, is it worth?

The strong point of SD780 is a capability to capture High Definition movies. Besides, it's slimmer and lighter. By the way, the SD1200 comes with bigger aperture, F2.8 - F4.9, while SD780 provides just F3.2 - F5.8.

In conclusion, we belive that Canon PowerShot SD1200 is good enough for everyday use. However, if you feel that you're in need of HD movies, the extra $30 for SD780 is a wise spend.
